About Me
My Background
Growing up in Manhattan Beach, California, I was exposed to volleyball very early. I started playing when I was nine years old. Fast forward seven years, and I love the sport more and more each day. I play for Sunshine 16 South Bay as a right side and defensive specialist. As a left handed player that played beach early in my career, I believe I have a unique perspective to the indoor game and the ability to put balls away from the back row and dig difficult balls. I love playing front row and back row, but my agility, jumping ability, and overall athleticism are best suited to playing DS in college. I consider myself a versatile player and will play wherever I can most help my team. My ultimate goal is to play volleyball on a competitive college team and continue my academic career. I pride myself on being extremely hard working and coachable.
I am very focused in school and complete all of my assignments on time, whether that means I do them on the bus coming home from school, or late after practice. Being a student athlete, I have become a pro at managing my time. In college, I plan on continuing this and being the best athlete and student I can be.
